Taking away Trump’s business empire would stand alone under New York fraud law
ABC News ^

NEW YORK -- Within days, Donald Trump could potentially have his sprawling real estate business empire ordered “dissolved” for repeated misrepresentations on financial statements to lenders, adding him to a short list of scam marketers, con artists and others who have been hit with the ultimate punishment for violating New York’s powerful anti-fraud law.

An Associated Press analysis of nearly 70 years of civil cases under the law showed that such a penalty has only been imposed a dozen previous times, and Trump’s case stands apart in a significant way: It’s the only big business found that was threatened with a shutdown without a showing of obvious victims and major losses.

“Clinton’s have been investigated. Matter of fact by Trump’s justice department. Hunter under indictment now. I don’t think I’m the person who needs to give it up.”

This is the same Justice Department that knowingly used false information to tar Trump as a Russian Collusion agent?

Yeah, you need to give it up. Every time a read a post of yours it is bashing Trump.

Most, if not all, of those real estate investors are Democrats. Especially the big ones.

They aren’t President Donald Trump. They’re safe. Nothing will ever happen to any of them.

The manner in which James used this law will never be used again. In fact, I’d be willing to bet that after the case is done, they’ll modify it so it can’t be used in this manner ever again.

I’ve developed a strong insecticide resistance. You attack, but don’t point out my errors. And yes, I’ve screwed up a time or 2. But when you’re more interested in the outcome vs the rule of law, there’s a problem.

Being democrats will not protect them from the socialists and marxists who are taking over New York. If they are too stupid to figure that out then they deserve what will come to them.

It would be nice if he weren’t such an easy and potent target.

I simply find it hard to believe we’re backing someone involved with fraud. If this were you or I, we’d have legal issues. And again, Trump ran that department. If they failed to prosecute Clinton and they should have been, Trump committed malfeasance. Again, the DOJ reports to him. BTW, if there’s something the Clintons or Biden’s should be charged with, I’m all for it.

I also think it will be struck down, the judge and prosecutors to be disbarred.”

You may be half right and that is the best we can hope for in NY.

“And though the bank offered Trump lower interest rates because he had agreed to personally guarantee the loans with his own money, it’s not clear how much better the rates were because of the inflated figures. The bank never complained, and it’s unclear how much it lost, if anything. Bank officials called to testify couldn’t say for sure if Trump’s personal statement of worth had any impact on the rates.”

Actually, they did make it clear. They said it only required him to have $100 million of wealth, which they concluded from their own evaluation that he did.

You may be right about that. They finagled to get the E Jean Carroll statute of limitations changed. But I still think, depending on what happens with Engoron, people will be looking to get out--once it is demonstrated they were willing to do it, nothing (well, almost nothing, but we're talking within the bounds of a 'civil' society) stops them from doing it again.

You might be right, but as long as one of those developers doesn’t become a Republican President or Republican candidate for any position, they’re safe.

As long as they continue to donate to Democrat causes and politicians, they’re safe.

As for the law that they used for Carroll’s case. They made it up, right before she came forward. Imagine the timing.

Anyone filling out a Personal Financial Statement to present to the Bank for a loan could be guilty.

Especially when you apparently must match an array of measurements which are all created for different reasons.

That you buy these baseless allegations of fraud tells us all we need to know about your ability to discern truth. You probably think Trump raped E. Jean Carroll, too.

The business entities called ABC news and the rest of them need to be removed from existence for just being a fraud in every way.

There is no crime here but that perpetrated by the judge and AG.

The judge has full immunity. The Prosecutor most likely also has full immunity. Remember this when assessing whether it is any more outrageous when Trump’s lawyers claim he had immunity for his actions as President.

We’ve already seen a huge exodus of biz outta NY.

But it won’t matter.

If Deep State gets away with this in NY, they can get away with it in any state in our former republic.

And this isn’t just about stopping Trump.

It’s also about Deep State sending a message to anyone who supports him, is thinking about following in his footsteps to forget about it.

Or else.
