Senate majority leader says Israeli prime minister has ‘lost his way’ and warns that country risks becoming ‘a pariah’

In remarks from the Senate floor, Schumer said he had a longstanding relationship with Netanyahu but believed he “has lost his way by allowing his political survival to take precedence over the best interests of Israel”.
Noting the prime minister’s inclusion of far-right officials in his government, Schumer said Netanyahu “has been too willing to tolerate the civilian toll in Gaza, which is pushing support for Israel worldwide to historic lows. Israel cannot survive if it becomes a pariah”.
Israel’s ruling Likud party responded to Schumer by defending the prime minister’s public support and saying Israel is “not a banana republic”.
“Contrary to Schumer’s words, the Israeli public supports a total victory over Hamas, rejects any international dictates to establish a Palestinian terrorist state, and opposes the return of the Palestinian Authority to Gaza,” it said in a statement.
“Senator Schumer is expected to respect Israel’s elected government and not undermine it. This is always true, and even more so in wartime.”
The Republican Senate minority leader, Mitch McConnell, struck a similar tone. “Israel is not a colony of America whose leaders serve at the pleasure of the party in power in Washington. Only Israel’s citizens should have a say in who runs their government,” he said from the chamber’s floor, shortly after Schumer spoke.
“Either we respect their decisions, or we disrespect their democracy.”

I also have NO DOUBT that the October 7 tragedy was caused by the leftists in Israel taking their cue from the idiot leftists in the U.S. The letter informing Bibi of the Hamas activity near the border, which would have allowed him to take proper precautions, never reached him. So how was he supposed to prevent the terrorist incursion? Do not tell me that the slowness of the report to reach him was any sort of accident. It was the Israel leftards trying to make him look bad. Only this incursion turned out to be major and absolutely horrible.

It is highly inappropriate and simply wrong for Senator Schumer to be calling for new elections in Israel.
We need to stand strong with Israel, but the White House and Senate Democrats are seemingly standing with and supporting Iran and its proxies instead.
The Lord God of Israel will defend His people and Shumer has just angered the almighty. Shumer will reap what he has sewn and will take the democrats with him. Shumer has brought shame onto our nation and it will come with a cost.
If the end result is the elimination of Hamas, and Hezbollah, then whatever led up to the Oct. 7th, “Pearl Harbor” is a moot point to me.

That’s 43 years lining his back pocket with Jewish money. Now he is worried that he will miss out on the Muslim money if he doesn’t get his story in line with a new piper.
