SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A San Francisco-bound United Airlines flight encountered mechanical difficulties Thursday morning, the airline confirmed to KRON4. United flight 1816 encountered a hydraulic leak as it approached SFO.

The plane was able to land safely, and all passengers deplaned normally at the gate, a United spokesperson said. The plane was an Airbus A320 with 150 passengers and five crewmembers on board.

Emergency vehicles were standing by as a precaution as the plane landed. A small amount of smoke was seen around the landing gear. According to the airline, this is routine and often occurs when hydraulic fluid comes into contact with brakes.

Mere coincidences, right? Someone conspiratorial minded might think there is an attempt to sabotage public air flight.

Remind me to not ever fly United.

Well, at least it wasn’t a Boeing plane, this time.

Must be mistaken.

Only Boeings have problems.

I know: I read it on the internet almost every day the past week.

The uptick in incidents involving United planes leads me to believe the company’s maintenance program is D.I.E.ing.

There is no uptick in incidents. There is, however an uptick in lazy journalism. United flew 2261 flights yesterday and only one incident? Spectacular!

BTW-The flight landed on schedule at 7:08am and was delayed taxiing to the gate.

China Airlines cancelled 17% of its flights yesterday. I bet no one read about that.

This is important news because both Boeing and United are heavily influenced by DEI. In fact, as if to brag about such commitment to Wokeness, United's CEO is even a proud crossdresser.

The airline industry requires a level of precision in design, operation, and maintenance that can only be achieved by hiring and promoting on the basis of "merit." Hiring/promoting on the basis of "diversity, equity and inclusion" instead of merit can lead to failure with deadly results.

For this reason, the airline industry is the canary in the coal mine.

Are airlines now employing diversity hires as mechanics? Asking for a friend.

No question about it! The entire corporate world has gone far-left woke. Very, very sad.

DEI is not something to be celebrated, it is something to be OVERCOME.
