Men are turning away from college and the shift could have profound implications for the economy, their health and the American family.
Today, only 39% of young men who have completed high school are enrolled in college, down from 47% in 2011, according to a recent analysis by Pew Research. That works out to about 1 million fewer young men in college compared to just over a decade ago.
The trend isn’t new but as scholars like Richard Reeves have pointed out, the gradual retreat from higher education signals a larger crisis facing boys and men.

college is a waste of time for most..

men not going to college?..men not marrying?...men not breeding?....it seems to be a problem with men...
American men better wake up and get themselves established...and that means finding a nice decent woman to marry and reproduce with, to raise a family, to earn a living, and set example for his children....
it means a church life and fellowship, pta, youth soccer, boy scouts and all that stuff, the stuff that made America great.....
Do not go to college until you want it.
Until then, apply your self - focus upon - some trade(s).
Learn to cook well. Stick to a study schedule.
Learning a trade is all well and good if you have the aptitude - just remember that for some you may wind up an old man in a lot of pain so have a backup plan for a second career of your body can’t handle it. 😞
You are very very correct. It also can take some trial and error as a young person. Best thing is to actually talk to people in various trades and profession and get their honest opinion.
Acquaintances working in tech say the field is filled with Asians; the sponsored ones are best because they can be worked 24/7, and when they’ve done their indentured servitude, they move on and another batch is hired.
Eugenics is completely accepted now; nobody bats an eye when NYC aborts more black children than are born there, and Iceland claims to have completely eliminated Downs Syndrome from their gene pool.
I can say with certainty that there were more “little people” around when I was younger...

That country doesn’t even exist anymore; people who thought they’d pick and choose which elements we keep (marriage, families, etc.) can clearly see those are disappearing in the rear-view mirror. Don’t take my word for it; look around with your own eyes.
