It's NOT the food that makes people obese, it's how much and WHAT they eat that does, ergo, that suggestion is a dichotomy.

In places where pot is now legal, smoking it on the street FORCES others to inhale that smoke.Smoking pot in an enclosed area, where others are, forces them to inhale the smoke. And please do NOT tell me that that doesn't happen, because it DOES and many article have been written about people now complaining about it, who have NO interesting in smoking pot.

What about my question re legalizing all those other drugs?

Theft has now been more or less not only condoned, but made sort of legal, in many different cities in this nation. How so? By NOT bothering those who commit the crimes, usually with a cap on how much what they have stolen adds up to. Below a certain set figure, they are "allowed" to do it with NO consequences at all.

What about adult prostitution? Make that legal, allow them to advertise on T.V.?

And re alcoholic beverages...as with food and obesity, most people NEVER over indulge and far fewer people, today, drink any alcohol than they did 60 years ago.

Nice rant, legalizing prostitution, etc, etc.

You realize the Biden admin. is not legalizing marijuana, right?

Legalizing and providing *safe* zones where addicts are given the needles and drugs has caused drug use to explode and now everyone is whining about the number of OD deaths.

WTH did they expect would happen?

“re alcoholic beverages...as with food and obesity, most people NEVER over indulge”

Do you have stats on that, and the corresponding figures for cannabis - or are you pulling convenient ‘facts’ out of ... somewhere?

“and far fewer people, today, drink any alcohol than they did 60 years ago.”

So over time, people can make good choices about intoxicants without criminalizing them. How ‘bout that ...

. In no case that I know of did the “legalization” of weed make it legal to smoke it in the open, in public places. I think we’re seeing another instance of the slide into anarcho-tyranny, in that case. Selective law enforcement is a valuable tool for a tyrannical government.
