Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD) said Monday on NewsNation’s “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” that her alleged meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was not removed from her book because it was “untrue.”
Vargas said, “You write about North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. You’ve been question several times on last couple of days because you’ve issued a retraction. You said that it shouldn’t have been in the book, this passage, that it was a mistake. Why shouldn’t that have been in the book? Is that untrue?”
Noem said, “No. What I said is that when this was pointed out that we we made adjustment to what the content was in the book. I’ve met many world leaders around the world. I’ve been to the DMZ. I’ve been traveling for years and years talking to world leaders. Just that name should not be in the book and I’m not going to discuss those personal meeting.”

First she said about 3 times that she was removing the Rocketman story.
We all as adults know what that means.
Today, she’s denying the Rocketman story was made up by her.
She would’ve never had it removed if it was true. Her initial reaction would then make no sense.

Now that it has been exposed that she lied about meeting a famous world leader, and is apparently doubling down on it with this latest interview, it is clear that she is a barefaced liar and unfit for any public office.

I’ve commented before, what we’re seeing here is the difference between country Freepers and city Freepers. In Noem’s mind she killed a dangerous dog. Period. There’s no controversy in ranch world about killing a dog that kills livestock and threatens people. It’s just what you do. But city people think, “Oh, she killed Fluffy!”. But don’t ask me to explain the Kim Jong Un thing. I can’t figure that one out.

People condemning her seem loathe to suggest that Major and Commander were unfairly spared the bullet. Her explanation is perfectly reasonable, but because the president’s vicious animals were spared doesn’t force the same standard on people in the real world.
She’s cooked.
Don’t even know why this is even a story, what with that vegetable in the WH surpassing anything she could ever claim.
That's fine, but why even put this story in the book? Noem just doesn't seem to be very bright, and she has displayed RINO tendencies. I suspect she is a John Thune in-waiting, but beyond that, I suspect that she is the establishment choice to be the VP pick. Trump should be saying "no bueno" at this point.
