It’s been forgotten how hateful the Quartering Acts were to the people and it still rankled in 1789. That’s why it is the third amendment. The FFs knew their priorities.

Yes. The Colonists had great names for the laws they hated. “Coercive Acts” (actually the British name, I think) and the “Intolerable Acts.”
