Jewish children were beaten by an unidentified man in New York on Sunday night, according to local media.

The assailant appeared to smack one of the children on the face, kicking him to the ground. The man threw another child to the ground before repeatedly kicking him. The children fled, and the man returned to his bicycle.
YPD investigates The NYPD said that there was an additional victim not recorded in the video. The police received a criminal complaint that they were investigating, about a bicyclist in the same area approached a man and his son who were also playing on the sidewalk.
"The suspect then pushed the victim to the ground causing a minor laceration [to] his head," said the NYPD. "The suspect fled southbound on Franklin Avenue. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing."
Antisemitic incidents have increased in New York since the October 7 Hamas attacks.

Ok. Thanks. FWIW, that neighborhood is very unwelcoming to outsiders…including other Jews, even Orthodox. When they venture outside (some have jobs) some have no qualms about being rude, spitting, etc on anyone. My boss is Orthodox and goes to Israel often…”if I went down one of their streets, they’d probably throw rocks at me”.

But, now, I watched the video of the attack on the kids in NYC.
The story says the kids were playing. But, I've watched the video multiple times now, and I can't tell whether they were playing tag or harassing people. It looks like they were harassing two women.
I wouldn't be surprised if the guy on the bike stopped with the idea of helping the women, and then he took things too far.

Wash your ears out with this: today I spent the morning working with a black pastor and some of his congregants that volunteered to build a wheel chair ramp for an elderly white couple they didn’t even know.
There are some really good people out there. We just have to find and value them.

I didn’t see a description of the perpetrator. He must not be a straight white male. It also doesn’t say how old the kids are. They sound very young when they say they were playing on the sidewalk. I wouldn’t go to NY if they paid me. What a dump.

Man... I know what would’ve happened to him if he came up on the kids on my street and did that. Daddies/Uncles/Brothers would’ve stomped a mudhole in his azz and walked it dry.
