House Oversight and Accountability Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (R-Md.) called the recent verbal battle in his committee sparked by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) words “a failure of leadership.”
“So, this was a failure of leadership,” Raskin said on CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront” Friday. “When the chairman of the committee declined simply to rule her words out of order, and to have them taken down, as [Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)] immediately moved to do, when he refused to do that, at that point, it unleashed the chaos in the committee.”

Raskin is a little communist like his parents that begat him.
What is embarrassing is letting the left try to jail conservatives and not fight back. MTG did not get a TKO (a physical TKO), but she punched back verbally. When the conservatives have SWAT raided and jailed the corrupt democrats....for years without a trial I will say the embarrassment is over.

Who gives a darn what Raskin thinks? He’s a self-hating (as a Jew) and a commie. Tara Sutter needs to correct her article since Raskin is a Democrat.
“A failure of leadership” is a euphemism for a cat fight.
So you think the eyelash comment from Greene was fine?
Raskin was pitching in on that fight from the very beginning, before Massie could say a word or do a thing. What he seems to be saying now is that he’d rule with an iron fist and never allow investigations of anything the Biden administration does.

It was most necessary. MTG is about the only Republican that understands being a coward only emboldens the Democrats.
If it wasn't due to Greene's comments, they would have something else to become indignant about.

The ship of Congressionl decorum sailed along time ago and MTG is the only one that gets it. Democrats understand Republicans are largely gutless cowards and use every opportunity to insult them.
I don’t think it was a failure of leadership. If you look at the video, Comer tried to stop it. The three women were acting like children. How does an adult handle that? Spank them? I thought Comer acted appropriately. What’s also interesting from the video is that other congressmen were whispering in his ear. What do you suppose they were whispering? Here is what I think they were whispering: “Just let them go at it.” These are three women who have no business being in the Congress. They did not do themselves any favors by exhibiting this spectacle. The best strategy was to let them make fools of themselves. Maybe their constituents will get a clue and vote them out. But if not, then at least they have marginalized themselves.
