House Oversight and Accountability Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (R-Md.) called the recent verbal battle in his committee sparked by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) words “a failure of leadership.”
“So, this was a failure of leadership,” Raskin said on CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront” Friday. “When the chairman of the committee declined simply to rule her words out of order, and to have them taken down, as [Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)] immediately moved to do, when he refused to do that, at that point, it unleashed the chaos in the committee.”

I didn’t think it was embarrassing. What was embarrassing is those RAT women AOC and that Crockett woman.
MTG made one little snide remark because the hootchie kooch Crockett messed up and pronounced a word wrong that showed the ignorance of Crockett.
The whole thing turned bad when AOC chimed in, and after that Crockett had to add some extra big insults at Greene because she could not control that big mouth of hers.

Exactly. There are far too many “republicans” that prefer to remain civil when being attacked and then commence to clutching their pearls when someone, especially a woman, fights back using the democrat’s tactics. You can’t win a no-holds barred match by being civil and kind. You know, like the GOPe RINOs.

I get NOTHING out of Congress.

The dirty truth that most don’t have the balls to say, is that we have ghetto trash occupying seats in Congress. Jasmine Crockett has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston and cannot speak proper English. She is the perfect example of what DEI has wrought. Her voters are for the most part, felons and/or those who are dependent on government hand outs for survival.
Cori Bush (D-MO) was a homeless woman who rose to Congress on the back of being a BLM activist in the aftermath of Michael Brown and George Floyd.
Should these be the types of individuals that have a seat in our government?

Look at what we’ve become. We erect statues to a career criminal drug addict and burn cities down in his name. We’ve got homosexuals on College campuses holding rallies in support of a group that would execute them on sight. We have grown Men competing as “Women” in athletic events and women applaud them.
Our current political class on the left are morons. This is what happens when you allow unqualified people seats at the table due to race or gender.
I see this every day and it’s blatantly obvious. I see folks at work who have a Master’s Degree from our local HBCU, who literally can not send an email without multiple misspellings and grammatical errors. The problem is, folks like you are too afraid of being called a “racist” than actually being honest and upfront about the issue.

I'm posting late to this thread, but... I agree with both of you.
It was a cat fight. As a woman, I was embarrassed by all three of them.
But... here's the deal.
MTG didn't insult Crockett. She said, "I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you're reading."
Was MTG's comment inappropriate? Maybe. But, eyelashes are something you wear. Like makeup or clothing, it's a choice.
Crockett shot back with an insult: "bleach blond, bad build, butch body."
Bleaching your hair is a choice, too. So, hitting back at MTG with "bleach blond" was OK.
But, Crockett also insulted MTG's body type. People don't have control over their height and bone structure.
And now, Democrat voters are trending the phrase, "bleach blond bad built butch body," and Crockett is selling merchandise with that line.
If not for double standards, Democrats would have no standards at all.
What did she accomplish in the end? MTG manages to make Republicans look crazy and other than that what has she done? I don’t know what people even want except for congress to provide a show for them and somehow vicariously vent their frustration. Senator Kennedy does that, but he does it intelligently and with class. MTG just provides fodder for the late-night comedians.
In the end, it doesn’t matter what I think of her, because I don’t live in her district.
She doesn’t seem crazy to me but maybe sanity standards are different in your country.
I like Sen. Kennedy a lot, but funny quips only go so far. Again, I don’t live in his district.
I don’t watch late night hosts (note that I don’t call them comedians because I don’t find them at all funny), so their ridicule means nothing to me.
