Mayorkas Denies Knowing Death Rate for Migrants

President Joe Biden’s border chief says he does not know the death rate of the many migrants heading to his border, even though he has thousands of deputies who closely track the flow of migrants into the United States.

Border chief Alejandro Mayorkas was asked on Friday, “What percentage of people die trying to get in this country?”

“I don’t know … [it is] a percentage,” responded the Cuban-born, pro-migration zealot.

Mayorkas has repeatedly described his support for migrants and has funded thousands of deputies and contractors to track, count, feed, and bus at least six million migrants heading to Americans’ communities and workplaces since 2021.

This guy never has answers when questioned in congress, and then he never has followup answers when he tells them, “I’ll be glad to get that information to you Senator/Congressman”. How many years has he been giving hearings? 2 years? 3 years? How is this Cubano not impeached when he is clearly lying about everything while he lets in the wetbacks.

Not sure if he’s lying or telling the truth, but he certainly isn’t worth whatever they are paying him to do his job.

They only know that which supports them. Everything else is a mystery.

Not sure if he’s lying or telling the truth.

As a retired BP agent I can say he's lying. We sent monthly reports of alien deaths and they were a big deal.

I always figured that the majority would be in Texas because of the Rio Grande or in the Tucson area given hard pan desert.

The big winner ended up being Calexico California. The irrigation canals are death traps with no way to climb out.

I know, right?

I’m watching Law & Border, on RAV.

Ben Berquam showing INVADERS from all over the world, all tatted up, camping out in NM/TX border, smiling, awaiting their Free $#!t.

Every time he's asked a question he goes into a soliloquy that goes around in circles and says nothing... He never gives an honest straight answer because he can't. It would spill all the beans.

He should be impeached for never answering a question. Could you imagine if Obama did this for 8 years and Biden did this for 4 years?

He was impeached, the assholes in the Senate wouldn’t even hold a trial.

I just looked it up on wikipedia:

On January 31, 2024, Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee approved the articles along party lines for referral to the full House.[71][72] On February 6, 2024, the United States House of Representatives voted against impeaching Mayorkas, nearly along party lines, with the final vote being 214–216.[73] Major media outlets variously characterized the failed vote as a "stunning rebuke", a "calamitous miscalculation", and a "story of a House in utter disarray".[74][75][76] On February 13, 2024, the United States House of Representatives voted to impeach Mayorkas by a vote of 214–213.[77] The United States Senate voted through a point of order that the charges were unconstitutional and moot on April 17, 2024 by a vote of 51–48−1 on Article I and 51–49 on Article II. Afterwards, the trial was adjourned in a 51–49 vote.[14][78]

What happened to where the House had a second vote to impeach a week after they failed the first time? I thought once it failed, it was done. Why did they try again a week later?
