They think they can pull the wool over everyone’s eyes again... Not going to work, way too many people can’t stand Joe Biden at this point. So they’ll have to go into full steal mode again to have any chance at all.

Fuel prices are rising fast. So there is no way this is true. Just more communist propaganda from the communist hill.

“After rising quickly for most of the past three years due to supply chain constraints and the impact of the Ukraine war, grocery prices are up just 1.1 percent over the past 12 months.”

They are lying. Inflation started with (1) Biden’s energy and the absolutely ridiculous spending policies.

Shame on The Hill for thinking we are so stupid. It is outrageous. I am insulted.

Never noticed the shrinkage in portions until you mentioned it. Thought my appetite increased as I now consume about 80% of the cooked contents. LOL!

I add a tablespoon of Tiger Sauce to the bowl.

Supply & Demand can cause prices to go higher, that is true.

Notice the sleight of hand here. They don’t want people to even understand what monetary inflation is!

Another howler, they like to say that inflation is occuring around the world! Not just the US!!

Well guess what, boys and girls? The US exports inflation. That’s the chief benefit for being “reserve currency”.

To: I got the rope; anyone

Weird because I almost posted listed an inflation near heart attack inducing event I had yesterday. I had not been in a Hardees since around 2019 (our local ones closed) and I went in one with my grand boys and wife because they wanted some burgers (8 and 6 years old).

Anyway I was shocked, shocked I tell you at the increases in prices since 2020.

There bigger sized burger was 11 dollars alone and SEVENTEEN a dollars for the combos (large). OMG I remember them being maybe 6 for the burger and 8-9 for the large combo.

I know it’s not groceries but still it’s so much money I wonder when poor will start starving at this rate?

I am an old guy who visits two major grocery stores every day on my evening walk.

I used to buy everything I eat on sale.

The posted shelf prices might be coming down, but the sale prices have disappeared, or, they are just a fraction of former sale prices.

The Dem Government wouldn’t lie to us would they? With no watchdog media to hold them to the truth.

RE: Piggly Wiggly.

Young Clarence Saunders was a clerk at a grocer’s store in Tennessee. In 1916 he had been suggesting new ideas one time too many so the annoyed boss fired him.

He went across the street with his new idea of shoppers being able to select their own items using a cart or basket and pay at the end at a cashier. Replaced having the grocer or staff member go to get each item. When people couldn’t see the price of items in the back they might be embarrassed. This new system solved that. People could compare prices and sizes on their own.

Today, stores in dangerous Dem cities have bullet resistant glass and carousels to dispense items from the clerk in return for money on the rotating payment tray. And more and more drug stores are removing high theft items from being at hand for the shoppers.

Just like before 1916.

Seriously? This administration probably found one or two items that were on sale, and declared a victory.

The nearest Walmart and HEB are both in Boerne-24-25 miles away-HEB is a little cheaper.

HEB has a program that if you get one of their VISA cards, you get 5 percent cash back on all HEB and Hill Country Fare brand products, and 1.5 percent everything else. Just use that card at HEB and pay the balance off at the end of every month.
