Tester rode the “Bush lied us into war and blew up the deficit with tax cuts for the rich” wave in 2006, and a biased press has kept this utterly useless grain-fed senator in office with the help of a powerful Democrat machine, even though the national debt has risen in his 18 absurd years in office almost $25 TRILLION, as he has done NOTHING to slow down spending, cut wasteful spending or raise entitlement taxes to cover the huge SS and Medicare deficits that grow bigger every year.
One thing to note, however: Montana’s lowest ever unemployment rate was under Jimmy Carter, and it’s highest ever unemployment rate was in Reagan’s second term, as the stronger dollar and shrinking inflation killed a state economy dependent on commodity prices.
Pretending to be a centrist has worked for him multiple times before - might as well try it again.
