Clifton, NJ, Route 3 East and Grove Street. The picnic is tomorrow - Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M..

Fr. Peter West

************************************************* **********

Why on earth is a Roman Catholic Church renting their property to a Pro-Abortion, partial-birth abortion, Gubernatorial Candidate Jim McGreevey who, in addition, is against the parental notification amendment. According to the Council of Catholic Bishops, Churches and Catholics are not supposed to support or recognize pro-abortion candidates and politicians. Although the Monastery is owned by a religious order, the Brothers must abide by church teachings.

Well Done Coleus. Fighting pro-abort Catholics appearing at Catholic functions/institutions IS well worth the effort.

I'd encourage everyone to publicly fight this, even if your bishop tries to tell you no scandal is involved. I was at the Ridge protest in PA and wrote this article linked above to encourage folks to take a stand.

Sorry I couldn't make it to this protest. I had already planned to go to DC to FReep the America-hating Communists and pro-terrorist clowns (which was quite an experience). Please alert me to any future protests of a similar nature. Thanks.

OK, I will

By the way how was the FREEP? Were they the maggot-haired hippies, freaks, and drug addicts from the 60's or is this a new and younger crowd?

Do you remember those Democrats? burning the flag, spitting on the Vietnam soldiers coming home from battle, always high and spaced out, dirty, creating the AIDS epidemic.

It wasn't Osama who started to burn our flag! It was those freaks from the 60's & 70's

Thanks Coleus, I sent this email to McGreedy, althoug it will do no good

How dare you emphasize your Catholicism when you are both pro-choice and pro-partial-birth abortion.
This is America and you have a right to run, on a pro-death platform, but how dare you defame a Church that respects human life, in all its forms, by associating yourself with it.
I shall pray for your eternal soul and for you political defeat.
Sincerely,
Brian @@@@@@@

I'm confused, how can the phrase "pro-abortion Catholic" even exist? When I was an apostate I at least had the decency to not call my self a Catholic.

Every time I hear my own senator, Tom "dung heap" Harkin refereed to as Catholic I want to puke. I think I'll attempt to head off any similar problems in the Dubuque and Davenport dioceses with a letter to each respective Bishop. Catholics with similar potential situations should do the same.

You see, the Pope and Bishops allows it. There is now law excommunicating Catholics who vote or think pro-choice. It may be a sin but no grounds for the excommunication. I guess they would lose too much money when the collection basket comes around if they make it so. There won't be too many more Catholics at Mass. Just look in CT & MA, the Kennedy Lieberman States..where most voters are Catholic!! The knights of columbus supreme hq is in CN.

There were some left over from the 60's who managed to avoid the path of their buddies Janis, Jim, and Jimmy. They got our references when we paraphrased their 60's slogans: "All we are saying, is give war a chance." and "Hey, hey, ho, ho, the radical left has got to go." I'll bet the kids born after the sixties were just perplexed at the first slogan. The majority of their crowd seemd to be young high school or college kids (useful idiots) who were seriously misguided.

Regarding personal hygiene, they didn't seem to practice any. They were quite a dirty, disheveled bunch. For more reporting and commentary on the FReep, you can visit the after-action report.

Not too much. The sign, which I posted on post 1 and now says Anglefire (I don't know why the picture was there for a day then changed automatically to the Anglefire logo) said "ALL are welcome", that was a lie because we were not.

First, we started to confront the Catholic politicians, gave them literature about abortion and an article from the OUR SUNDAY VISITOR which stated that you can not be Catholic and a Democrat because of the: abortion, homosexuality, and same sex marriages issues. Needless to say they did not like what we had to say. Gubernatorial Candidate/Woodbridge Mayor Jim McGreevey and Congressman Bill Pascrell are Catholic.

Then they sicked the dogs on us, none other than Miles Fienstein, New Jersey's top criminal lawyer, multi millionaire, who has represented most of the gangsters arrested in the state. He asked us to leave. Remember the sign said "All are Welcome" and what happened to our 1st amendment.

So we went onto the Monastery property where they could not throw us out. The monastery facilitated this event by allowing the abortionists to park on their property. Seems they have an agreement with the owners next door to share their properties for parking for different events. This time the Brother Superior should have said "NO"

We stood at the entrance with our anti-abortion signs, passing out literature and asked "Are you Catholic" "Then you can't go in there, Jim McGreevey is an abortionist" Most of the participants were Catholic, i.e., Hispanic, Polish and Italian.

We had Freepers, members of the Right to Life, and www.catholicvote.org there protesting.

Why were on-duty Passaic County Sheriffs officers there to listen to the Passaic County Democrat Candidate Jerry Speziale speak? Shouldn't have they been on duty protecting and serving the public? I guess not. Getting their candidate in was more important than public safety.

There were 3 off-duty Clifton Police officers there. I wonder if they were hired because of us? They can carry guns, we can not.

We were definitely a thorn in their sides

The best part is when Roman Catholic, Blessed Sacrament Church, Paterson, Parishioner, Congressman Bill Pascrell walked in from behind us smiling and shaking our hands until he saw our signs, "Boy was he ever ashamed and embarrassed!!" He clamed up and walked away fast with his head down. Remember, he has a 75% pro-abortion record according to the www.all.org voter's guide, Great Catholic, huh. And remember "theBeacon" the official newspaper of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson had a front page story about Pascrell when he became a Congressman, touting his Italian/Catholic background, Barf alert, Catholicbeacon@aol.com

It was a good day and we got our point across.

And to add insult to injury, WE SNUCK IN AND ATE THEIR FOOD. DEMONSTRATING CREATES AN APPETITE. THE EGGPLANT WAS GREAT.
