Becasue of un-Amrican remarks made by Bill Maher, host of the "show" called politically incorrect, Sear and Fed-Ex dropped their advertisements. Massive write-ins complaining of the program were made directly to these companies, by-passing ABC.Formerly, people would complain to ABC...and therefore to a deaf ear.

This new strategy is to alert CEO's of advertising companies when alleged anti-American views are made and let these people make the call....An absolutely great and winning strategy.

Peter Jennings escaped this time but his un-American views will likely put him in the same box in the not too distant future.

Thanks for the example. In that case, what the "reporter" appeared to be doing, was quoting someone else, with whom he is obviously in accord. That way, he gets to vicariously editorialize, which is exclusively what many pc media propagandists do. A real journalist would have offset Thobani either with an articulate opponent, or by himself providing offsetting facts.
