"Coincidental" Happenings Thread: Post Local "Accidents," etc., HERE

Come as you are or wear your tinfoil hat.
I'm not wearing my Tinfoil hat yet, but I've got the catalog out and am doing some serious shopping. How many more "accidents" are going to happen while we build coalitions ? Post local events and incidents (accidents, bomb threats, etc.) here.

I don't think it is the events alone that unsettle most folks. It's the quick explanations that do. Look at how quickly the FBI dismissed that busjacking yesterday. Look how quickly they are claiming the russian airline was the result of an unfortunate accident. The whole New Dehli thing yesterday is just plain wierd.

considering that explosion was in South Bend area (about 2.5 hours away) I wouldnt necessarily jump to that explanation

Philosophically, you raise an important point. If the goal of our enemies is to terrorize us through random acts of brutal violence, what better way to frustrate their efforts than to deny them credit? How does that square with our right to know? If in the current context
we know these "coincidental happenings" are acts of terror disguised, but through this covering action (if it is real) the administration is stealing the enemy's thunder, who is harmed?
Discussion.

My dog threw-up after eating some leftover Jimmy Dean pork sausage. Should I be concerned?

O.K. last night on the police scanner, I heard of about a greyhound bus driver who had called the police to eject a disruptive passenger off of the bus. I listen to the scanner a lot and this is the first time I have heard this happen. This took place near Aberdeen, Maryland (home of Cal Ripken).
I wanted to post this last night, but did not want to create hysteria or a false alarm.

Put simply, isn't the definition of war "Kill them before they kill more of us?" If they're succeeding at killing and maming more of us does it matter whether they're getting credit for it or not?

I don't know. I thought about having the cat keep a watch on him, but the cat is an Abyssinian. I'm getting worried.

does it matter whether they're getting credit for it or not? If their goal is to terrorize a million by killing a thousand then, yes, credit for their acts does count. The thousand are still dead, but without credit, the million are not terrorized.

You have made an interesting point. However, I prefer to know the truth. Sigh. I've got to stop listening to the Michael Savage show. Savage spouts that we should know every instance of the enemies' brutality. How else would we justify our revenge and prepare ourselves for a long, casualty-ridden war? What bothers me and other people about these "coincidences," "unfortunate accidents" and "terrorist-training" explanations may be the distinct possibility that world governments are wimping out and are trying to mollify our "Muslim Allies" so as not to incite a riot...or an actual war on terrorism. I have nightmares that our War on Terrorism will be about as "effective" as the War on Drugs has been all of these years.

Yesterday at the height of the morning rush hour in Washington there was a 4th grader standing at the corner of a busy intersection punching the crossing light over and over again.
This made the light change roughly every 30 seconds...locked up traffic for miles and pissed off everyone who has to travel through that part of town.
I heard about it on the radio and altered course. Aparently police had been called to the scene but said that they could do nothing to prevent the child from pressing the button for the crossing light.
My question is this: Did all this take place because I'm a woman who can read or because my husband saw my ankles before we were married.

"...and 'Mexican Radio' came on the radio."
Ah, but was it a barbequed iguana taco?

I don't have any kids and I wasn't making it up. FR was hacked for a short while and I wasn't the only one who noticed it.
