First Lady Refuses Vaccines; Socialites in a Tizzy

(CNSNews.com) - First Lady Laura Bush this week said she has refused offers to be vaccinated against germs that might be used in a bioterrorism attack on the U.S.

"I just didn't really feel like it was necessary," Mrs. Bush said in an interview on Wednesday.

She wasn't saying that other people should make the same decision. She just didn't want to do it herself.

Her comments were reported in Friday's Washington Post. The same newspaper noted that Washington Post Reporter Sally Quinn, former Clinton fundraiser Beth Dozoretz, and other well-connected Washington women are very worried about a bioterrorism attack. Some of them gathered at a Washington restaurant on Thursday to pick up terrorism survival tips from two former Secret Service agents who now run security companies.

Earlier this week, Sally Quinn, in a newspaper op-ed, admitted she's purchased gas masks and stocked up on bottled water, flashlights with batteries and canned goods.

She said she keeps her car filled with gas and also stockpiled antibiotics, even though her regular doctor would not prescribe them for her.

Good for Mrs. Bush.
If there really was an attack of that magnitude, that Washington socialite, Sally Quinn, would die in her car
with her gas mask on, surrounded by her stockpile of foodstuffs.

That's great! Besides being her choice to refuse the vaccines, it seems like the First Lady is also serving as an example to others, trying to halt all this panic mentality that's going around the general public.

Im getting kind of tired of this. These bastards hate us because we're Americans, and we practice religion (a good majority of us being Christians )... If they want to kill me for what I believe, then there is nothing I can do about that, and I just have to put my faith in God. I'm not going to hide from death, or from these bastards. If I happen to get some nasty disease, or get blown up, then MY God will take care of me.... whats the worst that can happen anyway, I get to go up and see my dad again, my friend from HS, a child I knew who died at 1, another friend from work, etc etc.... I say bring it on....

Where does Ms. Quinn think she is going to run too? A gas mask. She better have an entire body suit. I don't think germs are really particular about where they land on your body.

That is how I feel. I am not afraid to die myself for my religion, or for my freedom. I undersand the words" give me liberty or give me death" now so much more. I am afraid for my child. I want to make sure he makes it. That is my only fear.

Sounds very much like the left will adopt an arguement that runs
"Don't do anything that would get them angry - they might use (insert weapons of choice here)..."

It's obvious that several administrations have skirted CBU as a viable weapon and have skirted defense against CBU as well.
Lots of valid reasons for doing so - research is needed in all elements of CBU but - as another suggested regarding gas masks - you'd better be wearing and pumping and have treatment for just the precise bug or molecule that floats up to your bod.
Watch this in action when your co-workers line up for a flu shot, then go home and contract a different strain of virus. Odds are that they will spend the same amount of time on their backs as those who got no shots at all - just a different brand of shakes and fever.

CBU is a whole spectrum and to defend against one element is unfortunately no less futile than to stay home and expect everyone to love us.
Comes down to three things,
Hope it's not used,
Hope there is post strike treatment available,
Hope the government makes it VERY clear that use of any such weapon will invite swift nuclear end game for anyone who did it.

Also their hope is once the smoke clears the elites can form their utopian world, but when they see the sign of the Son of Man coming with great glory then those foolish hopes will be forever crushed.
