Did the government give the Terrrorists Visa's? [Governments give out visas - do YOU have proof that our government gave visa's to known terrorists?]

Did the government allow them to go to Flight School? [Does one need government permission to go to a flight school - I don't think so.]

Did the government issue them Federal Pilot Licenses? [Some yes. some no. Again it is a function of government to issues licenses to qualified school graduates. As an aside, I think serious background checks should be done before, during and after graduation (if applicable)]

Is this a conspiracy or is this the truth? [They bought Dockers. Dockers are made by Levi. Levi is Jewish. Must be a conspiracy! LOL]

THE GOVERNMENT DID ALL OF THEM [You forgot to mention the government built roads they drove on, drivers certificates, etc, etc.]

Beam me up scotty!

10/08/2001 - Updated 12:51 PM ET U.S to U.N.: Attacks may go beyond Afghanistan WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States has formally notified the U.N. Security Council that counterterrorism attacks may be extended beyond Afghanistan. A legal document sent Sunday to the council reaffirmed the attack on the Taliban was an act of self-defense under the U.N. charter and said the United States reserves the right to strike at terrorist cells beyond the South Asian country, a senior administration official told The Associated Press on Monday.

Lax, outdates system at root of INS troubles

By Thomas Farragher a Nd Alice Dembner, Globe Staff, 9/30/2001

ith its borders so porous and its recordkeeping so unreliable, the United States has little ability to keep all criminals - or terrorists - out of the country and has no system to track them once they're here.

At least 16 of the 19 hijackers who carried out the worst terrorist act in US history on Sept. 11 exploited one of the most enduring tenets of American freedom: its open society. They crossed US borders holding legal papers granted to them by a US State Department

In a letter Friday to the Democratic California senator, David Ward, the president of the nation's leading organization of colleges and universities, pledged that schools would provide immigration authorities with more information about their foreign students and act quickly to notify the INS when an expected student does not enroll. One of the 19 hijackers in the Sept. 11 attacks apparently entered the United States on a student visa to enroll at a language school in Oakland. He never showed up, the school's officials said.

Ward, the president of the American Council on Education, wrote to Feinstein on behalf of 18 organizations representing colleges, universities, registrars and teachers of foreign students.
