Does anyone remember a show from the mid-'60s called "Discovery," with Bill Owen and Virginia Gibson? Sort of a travel/learning magazine show for pre-teens.

I remember it- came on Sundays in my town. It was good. We also loved "Wild Kingdom" and other such shows.

i remember a 'wild kingdom' show when marlin perkins was talking in the studio and a hawk was flying around and landed on his head. i was absolutely amazed at how cool he remained with those claws digging into his scalp. why didn't the director yell 'CUT'???? it was hilarious. and then there was the boa constrictor.......well, you can imagine. i guess he had a good 'mutual of omaha' policy! LOL!!! poor old marlin!
