MANAGUA, Nicaragua (AP) - Sandinista leader Daniel Ortega conceded defeat Monday to the governing party presidential candidate, Enrique Bolanos, who had once been imprisoned by a past Ortega government.
``We accept the mandate of the people and congratulate the Liberal ticket,'' Ortega said in his concession speech.
He promised to continue working for national reconciliation, and for a free-market economy, from within the country's National Assembly, or congress.

Nicaragua has been hurt badly enough by Marxists not to elect them anymore.
I'm afraid we're not there yet...

Another bad day for the Left's favorite revolutionary child molester.
Oh well, back to the drawing board. And the grade school bushes.

They never elected them - they took control by revolution, as they always do, and ruled by iron fist for several years. Thanks to Ronald Reagan and the Contras, he finally succumbed to having an election under the guise of Oscar Arias and was forced to relinquish control. This is now the third election & the good people there still remember the death and destruction brought to Nicaragua by the Sandinistas.

Another commie bites the DUST!
No wonder Castro, that other thug-murderer-terrorist, never holds free elections. ;^)

Very good news, my friend. The American pressholes must be drowning in their tears =^)

Three times Ortega has faced the voters, and all three times tasted defeat -- He's kind of the "Harold Stassen" of Central America.
To: chimera
But but but, the american media acted like Ortega was on his way to victory. Now why am I surprised!!!
