Not that it won't change but Prophecy rightly indicates that only a very small remnant in Israel will be true belivers in Jesus at the end. So this statement about American Christians being largely those who care about Israel is proportional to the dispersal worlwide who are the True Church as represented in Christian belief!

Not that it won't change but Prophecy rightly indicates that only a very small remnant in Israel will be true belivers in Jesus at the end.
And there was a small remnant at the end of Jerusalem in 70 AD as prophecy indicated. The rest were harshly judged as never before for spilling the blood of the prophets.
So this statement about American Christians being largely those who care about Israel is proportional to the dispersal worlwide who are the True Church as represented in Christian belief!
I agree with this conclusion. There is a certain loyalty to those whom God chose to reveal the "Oracles of God".
Not to mention they are the more justified group over there trying to survive.
