"If God wishes that none shall die, and that all are saved, wouldn't it be safe to say that He will get what He wants? Or isn't He GOD?"

You'll find out. We all will.

that a truly benevolent and loving God could not and would not punish his creation, for actions (or lack of actions) they could not control

That is correct because everyone made choices in Eternity Past, this is a difficult thing to prove, but if you look long and hard at it, then it makes the most sense - that is IF you believe in a truly benevolent and loving God.

(I cant wait for the replies to this) lOl!

But there is a lake that burns with fire and brimstone. Look up brimstone in the greek. You will be surprised.

Thanks Gargantua, I am a believer. OWK on the other hand says he isn't. It doesn't surprise me that I am agreeing more with OWK than with you. I used to believe what everyone else said about God, and then I started looking for myself! OWK is closer to the Kingdom than you.

Who said anything about hell? Don't get too excited to share truth, you should know why.

That would be the only conclusion I could draw, if I accepted the notion of God.

I can see no way for a truly loving and benevolent God to judge men for things outside their control. If God exists, I would submit that those who believe him to sit in judgement over the failure of men who never knew him, to accept him... are simply wrong.

>>But what kind of benevolent God would play so cruel a practical joke, as to have you live in some jerkwater hovel in Tibet, and spend your whole life never having even heard of Jesus, much less accepted him... and then roast your butt on a spit for all eternity for being unlucky enough to be born there. Doesn't sound like a loving God to me.<<

I have to admit that, being a PCF (professing Christian Fundamentalist), I have disagreed with the majority of your posts on this subject. However, I completely agree with your statement above.

If you are really searching for an answer to that question, I very highly recommend "Mere Christianity" by C.S.Lweis. It's a very short book from the late '40's.

It tries to cover other questions that bug a lot of people about the God of the New TEstament, such as, "why would a loving God allow all the suffering in the world?" There are other books out there, but this is my favorite, because it gets to the point and communicates in a way that I can understand. It might at least clarify some Biblical precepts from the mind of a mere man with good written communication skills.

"OWK is closer to the Kingdom than you."

Sure. Which one? And based upon what scriptural tenet(s)?

Thanks.

I've had the same recommendation from several others. I'll make a note of finding it. I read some of C.S. Lewis' fiction (and my children enjoyed them as well).

Does the Word say that Christ is the savior of the world. Jn. 4:42, 1 Jn. 4:14. Ofcourse that couldn't mean the whole world, nah. What good would it do to give you scripture when you can't get past these two.

I proclaim that there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever, which would lead me to the conclusion that there is a God.

Reckon where matter began?

What are you trying to say?

Die Vereinigten Staaten sollten an dieses zweimal denken. Ein Mann wie Sharon kann eine eine andere Sache sein, wie Polen nach Deutschland war.

Das ist nicht sinnvoll

In your hurry to get to the book of John 4:, you seem to have missed John 3: 18 & 19...

"He who believes in Him (Jesus) is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God."

"And this is the condemnation, that the light (Jesus) has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."
