Sign me up for the pistol shoot. I'll be happy to send back co$t with my targets. Advise when we are locked and I'll send a mailing address.

Thanks - great idea!

We now have fifteen participants - I'm going to cap it here for now. If I forgot anyone - please let me know.

Registered shooters:

Targets are due in late this week or early next - they will be in the mail with instructions ASAP.

Hey m1911, your place or mine? I think I'll be shooting my .45LC for the center fire.

Any Atlanta area freepers in the lot? I'm in Roswell although I plan on shooting in Dahlonega. If anyone would like to try to shoot together let me know.

I don't know if PeacePipe would appreciate the noise around the young'n, but you have a great 25 yd. range. You know what I'll be shooting for centerfire...

I climbed a mountain in Dahlonega called Springer, then followed an old trail from it's peak all the way to Katahdin ME. Nice area of GA you live in.

My place it is.
I'm thinking of splurging on store bought ammo, I'll be needing all the help I can get, and the 100+/- fps we are getting from the reloads won't improve my aim.

STORE BOUGHT !!!

Anyone using store bought ammo has to shoot at 35 yds, using their non-dominant hand and eye and a three pound weight on the wrist.

Just kidding

The strobe light is only for those using barrel lengths greater than 2-1/2"

What would be the handicap with an 18.5" barrel?

Them's some long silhouette guns. I'm shooting a 6 1/2 inch BlackHawk and 4 inch Taurus......... I don't have a chance against those. Hell, I probably don't have a chance against most others either. BTW, Guns & Ammo magazine's December issue has the Taurus 12 inch on the cover.

I was able to get out and practice with the new targets and did rather well if I say so myself !

Actually, the targets are not in yet, so the earliest I can get them will be Wednesday (Monday is a holiday & I work late Tuesday)

Good luck to all!

I have to ask what that picture is (maybe I'm not looking at it right - I can't figure out the shadows). Is the wood table top showing through the shot-out star hole?
