In that case he understands nothing. I could run around babbling that I'm looking for the one piece of evidence that proves the Punic Wars occurred. Then, each time you show me something, I say: "No, that's not proof. Nor that. Sorry, that doesn't do it." Etc. Anyone can play that game.

actually, it's the left that has historically most strongly rejected the use of genetic science in public policy. the left likes to live in the delusion that all people not just have equal rights but indeed are equal in capability at birth and that with the right state supported enhancements to enviornment (read welafre, headstart etc) there would be no major differences in outcome in life.
traditionally the right has held that people are different in their abilities, character etc, and thus considerable differences in life outcomes are to be expected. over the last 25 years these differneces have been well documented as having a substantial (though of course not total) genetic basis. See E.O. Wilosn, James Q. Wilson, Herrnstein, Jensen and others.
Odd, how some strains on the right now seem to be "fellow travelling" with the lefty crowd on this one.
