Perhaps next time we should encourage a new and free Iraq to ignite a chain reaction of democratic revolution in the Gulf — and let the sheiks deal with reformers who seek not to take their oil, but to oust them altogether.

This idea has a lot of merit.

It would be nice to win this war with as little bloodshed as possible, especially our own. That means formal warfare against as few of them as possible, and taking the rest of them on one at time, if possible.

However, we must eliminate the long-term threat from ALL of them, even the ones we do not fight now. Somehow, civilized governments must be created.

The key is that there is a difference in attitude between BROTHERS and OUTSIDERS. The Iraquis, Kuwaities and Paslestinians are all BROTHERS, no matter what they do or don't do. WE ARE OUTSIDERS, to be used when expedient, but we are NOT members of the FAMILY.

Bravo. This is a splendid, compelling article. We can pretend that it is untrue at our peril. Islamic gratitude is to laugh at the infidel benefactor. If this is what we get from our Islamic 'friends', what should we expect from our Islamic enemies?

After reading this what do people want from the Jews in Israel? Are these people capable of an honest relationship with infidels? If Palestinians who were once Kuwaiti traitors become blood brothers and can generate incredible levels of rage, what would await the Jews if they really made a peace treaty with these Muslims.
