Yes, Scott Ritter is right. There may well be propaganda mills in America. It certainly looks like he is running one of them.

I want to ask him. Has he been threatened? Are they holding his wife and kids? Blackmail comes to mind. The difference between what he said in 98 and is saying now is just bazaar.

I agree. I saw him on Fox the other night and I couldn't believe it was the same weapons inspector that spoke out in 98.

It really makes you wonder what his current motivation is. Somehow, I get the feeling it has more to do with what's best for Scott Ritter than what's best for the USA.

It sure is. Something is way out of whack. I wonder if he is under pressure. Sure wish someone would confront him about this bizarre change of opinion.

Ritter is somehow bought and is therefore not worth our notice as an expert. We don't have to know why, how, when - but he is strongly mounting propaganda FOR Saddam. Therefore, we can use his information through the time he left. After that time frame - he has no more information than any of us and should not be sprouting what Saddam has done in three years.

He is not an expert on Iraq - he resigned that position and now his only claim to fame is the fact that he was an inspector. We know Saddam, we know what he has done to his own people, we know what he is doing in the Middle East and we know he wants nuclear and chemical weapons to come after us. We will protect ourselves from those that seek to kill us no matter whether Ritter likes it or not.
