You know, Brenda does inadvertently bring up a good question. How come there wasn't a single female firefighter who died? Seems like a little discrimination happened somewhere. Perhaps conveniently self-directed?

Since this whining little &*$@ brought this up - I would like to know how many female FDNY showed up at the scene - and how many volunteered to go up those smoldering stairs.

I have an answer to your question about how many women showed up and volunteered to go up the stairs. none. Or if there were, i bet the men on the NYFD wouldnt let them.
