Thank you, Thank you , Thank you one and all! This is fantastic... Bookmarked Under My Profile....
I am more convinced than ever that our energies must be focused on these issues in bringing up our children, both male and female, in order to preserve any hope for their futures....

Your dad was right...Spartans...
My son is 4 years old and already homeschooled...that's one I intend on teaching him, along with faith and trust in the Lord, sacrifice, duty, honor...

When I was raising my sons, I relied on Dr. Dobson's "The Strong-Willed Child." Believe me, I don't think I could have done it without his good insight and advise. I recommend this book MOST highly.

I'm not even sure they're safe in Classical Christian schools. I work for schools. TAKE YOUR KIDS OUT. HOMESCHOOL THEM. I can't emphasize this enough. Yes, I know, I work for the enemy. I know. I think they are terrible. Just think that I know of what's going on, from the inside...

My mistake. Sparta. You're right.

Do you know that the Association of Classical and Christian Schools are adamantly opposed to vouchers and for good reason? They don't want government interference. I think it's great that your church is offering a classical school. Classical Christian schools and classical homeschooling are going to pull this country up from the miserable depths it has decended into.

Powder..Patch..Ball FIRE!
My wife has had 4 inquiries in the last 3 weeks from friends of people who know we homeschool to guide them to information and curriculum so that they can get their kids out of the system.

Today there are so many home curriculum providers it's a billion dollar a year industry. There are also web sites that offer instruction in all subjects such as classicalfree.org and K12. With advances in technology, students will be able to study anywhere in the world, at anytime, and develop their own curriculum within reason to suit their interests. They'll also be able to choose their teachers. Who would you rather teach you history, an ineffectual high school football coach or a renown historian? Brick and mortar schools will be a thing of the past, along with statist school administrators and the teachers unions.
