Interesting, isn't it? And I remember when the regular networks wouldn't have Brock on to discuss his Anita Hill book.
David Horowitz talks about how he was lionized by all the best book review venues while he was a leftist--the same publications now find his work unacceptable for review.

Not unless they could bash him over it. I remember a rather testy segment of Today, shortly after The Real Anita Hill was published, in which Brock underwent one of Bryant Gumbel's patented snooty, smugger-than-thou slice-and-dice numbers.

Exactly! And when they did have him on, they always required that he be accompanied by a socialist "chaperon" to contradict him, something no socialist writer ever had to put up with. Brock complained quite a bit about this at the time. (I believe I saw his complaints in the paperback edition of The Real Anita Hill.)
