"And when I realized that they had a 'Day of Silence,' I thought that this was the perfect opportunity for Christians and other concerned people to speak out against homosexual behavior and the promotion of it in schools, and make it a day that was easier to do that, because normally we?re shut down by name-calling from the other side." That's a good idea, but what she doesn't realize is that the queers are actually a very small part of our population. The queer supporters, however, are a large and vocal group. They can, apparently, still do the name-calling and what-not.
But I will be glad for the queers themselves to shut up for a day.
