Once homosexuals are allowed to adopt, why stop there? Why not pedophiles, masochists, sadists, necrophiliacs, etc.? After all, they're "born that way", and it's just an alternative lifestyle.

While I'll not try to engage anyone here in debate on the facts, as both sides can present studies to support their assertions, I'm not aware of any state law that explicitly prohibits masochists, sadists or necrophiles from adopting. I'm not sure about pedophiles either (though I certainly would hope that the state would find that any pedophile is "unfit" to be an adoptive parent).
