The strange thing is that Juan Williams did NOT disagree with Goldberg's and McGowan's assertions of media bias. Instead he cited polls showing that people trusted their local newspaper and that they knew how to filter out the bias. In other words, he seemed to be saying that it is OK for the media to be biased because people can filter it all out on their own. Bizarre. Listen to that segment for yourself.

I heard the report yesterday, and was surprised that NPR and Juan didn't try to spin it or disagree. Pretty fair report, I must say, even though I loathe NPR.

NPR has some great shows. Car talk, What do you know, Wait Wait don't tell me, Back porch music, and the best of them all... A Prairie Home Companion.
