Could it be that we are not responsible for global warming?

Yes, and it has already been posted.

It's sure lucky they finally found some trees old enough to show this. All those previous tree-ring studies had to make do with trees that were something like 567 or 418 years old....
There's no scientific excuse for such a study being published only now. Political excuses abound, however.

and the truth begins to ooze under the political door, much like the all consuming monster in "The Blob." For the record, I do high performance computing and modeling.

There was many studies that shows global cooling, and others that show the climate is more relating to the sun activities rather than human activities. But the activists on the left, just refuse to accept anything less than damaging the US economy with the so called Kyoto treaty.
Remember, the treaty lets China and India off the hook, and only tax the US economy. Now we have air pollution equipment, and regulation that is second to none. On the other hand these two countries don't, and only trying to catch up to us on the cheap, even if they damage the environment.

Global temperatures during the Medieval Warm Period from the years 1000 to 1200 closely matched the warming trend of the 20th century, says a study of tree rings appearing in today's issue of the journal Science. This was accepted as fact and is backed by large amounts of data, but the Global Warmers did some Scientific Genocide and used statistical majic and eliminated the Little Ice Age and Medieval Warm Period from the record to match thier lies.
