"...We need to take away the Robin Hood mystique from these terrorists, which is what they are."

More than that, we need to tell the truth to students in our pubic screwels: The environment is not threatened by the actions of men; it's too big to even notice us!

There we differ. It may be true that nature doesn't care, but there is no doubt that people are capable of massive and destructive influence. Strangely, I think that environmentalists may be guilty of some of the most egregious crimes against nature, many of which have yet to fully manifest.

Nature has no jurisdiction on us, we have jurisdiction on nature. One day we will be hit by a meteorite. What will the enviro do when nature commits suicide and we try to prevent it? They probably will protest us shooting down meteorites. Mark my word, these people work with evil.

"The rationalization of ecoterrorists is no different from the al Qaeda terrorists," said House Resources Committee Chairman James V. Hansen, Utah Republican. "Both believe they are the sole proprietor of truth and righteousness. Both believe they have the right to impose their concepts of truth and righteousness on society. Both attack people who they think they have violated nature's or God's law," he said. "Both hate Americans because we are free to make our own decisions," Mr. Hansen added. Some environmental activists seem to invite such comparisons with statements that appear to support the Islamic terrorists who executed the September 11 airline hijackings and attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Thanks for the flag. I read this yesterday at the WT site and wondered why it hadn't been posted to FR yet.

"I have to ask, 'Where's the suffering?'" Mr. Barbarash said. "Where are the people being tortured and killed?
Good question.
You can look at the right wing — at the abortion-doctor killings, at the Olympic Park bombing — these are attacks that should be considered terrorism."
I believe you've answered your own question, maybe without even realizing it. Aren't the unborn children "people" too?
I love the way you try to equate and legitimize the actions from a "certain perspective" and the attempt to impugn all on the right wing.
Guess what...I think you're just a little warped in your perspectives.
Later...
Phil
P.S. You can respond here anytime you choose Mr. Barbarash. I somehow doubt that you will though.

HorseHillary! You are as far off-base as these leftist wackos are,but in the opposite direction. Look at the rivers and lakes that were so polluted nothing lived there that have now been cleaned-up. Remember the "Brown River" in Cleveland actually catching fire? Look at all the animals that have been brought back from the edge of going extinct that are now flourishing now, some flourishing too damn much.

In short, there has to be a reasonable balance.

More than that, we need to tell the truth to students in our pubic screwels:...

But who will determine the truth?
The teachers use the same flawed data and biased reports as the enviro-wackos.
