Bizarre. Checked USPS' homepage . . . Sure enough, the stamp is for sale. The post office describes it as an Art Deco stamp.

"Another commercial, which is now in production, will show a quiet peaceful neighborhood with American flags plastered everywhere. And everybody's got a George Bush bumper sticker. Then you'll see a troop of seven or eight year old kids coming home from elementary school marching, with their uniforms of white shirts and blouses and blue pants. They have their child's Civilian Defense Force volunteer armbands on and their Good Citizen badges that the local CDF chapter leader gave them. But they're actually marching down the street with big smiles on their faces. And the kid in the front who's leading them is holding up a little American flag. The child will be talking to the commander of the group, who's telling the child about being obedient to your parents and being obedient to your government."
OMG. No way. Please tell me this guy is kidding.

...Senator Daschle's speech on how he intimated that he would run for president in 2004. He laid out the Democratic Party agenda and what the plank will for the presidential election -- a platform of fiscal responsibility...

The stamp may be real, but this one line demonstrates that the rest of the article is, indeed, a complete fiction...

Never heard of a democrat that really stood for "fiscal responsibility." I doubt tom Dash-hole will change that record...

If you don't believe it, look at the new 57-cent postage stamp yourself, and we'll explain to you what it means. Look at the new Ed McMahon commercials for the Department of Justice. Start looking for your new triangular State Security street signs. And the orange knit capped people on your street with clipboards.

Oh no, not the clipboard. Please, anything but the clipboard. Gasp!

Geez, somebody needs to get a grip.
