Great suspicion needs to be given to those that blindly follow a "leader" that dishonors those that supported him based on what HE SAID HE WOULD DO, then sells those principles out for political gain. Fact is HE signed a Bill that RESTRICTS the ALL AMERICANS first Amendment Rights. ANd I don't give rats @ss what the SC says. HE SIGNED IT.

Pardon me, But I believe you were one that railed against the Other Democrats Supporting Slick willy for doing exactly what you are doing now. Support him no matter what.

Sheep are sheep, Irregardless of their party Affiliation.

And for those of you that think this is some grand Political plan, remember this. This is from the Same Administration that tryed to HIDE GW's DWI arrest. REMEMBER THAT, the one that cost him 10 percent in the polls a week before the election. Yeah, baby. Political masterminds.

Are you talking about a DWI forty years before the election? Get real. We have yet to have Jesus run as president - all others are mere mortals who can learn from their mistakes.

"Great suspicion needs to be given to those that blindly follow a "leader" that dishonors those that supported him based on what HE SAID HE WOULD DO, then sells those principles out for political gain"

True. And we who have READ the bill and understand the political seige President Bush faces, as well as the consequenses of that seige, but will defend him on the grounds that A:)we've read it B:)This country needs his leadership and C:) he publicly expressed his belief that the SCOTUS will slash the parts of the bill that he believes are may be unconstitutional (there are more reasons, most or all of which have already been outlined by others on this thread.) What about us? We are sheep because, while we may disagree with the offending portion of the bill, we STILL maintain a different outlook on the situation? This makes us all blind sheep?

You're all wasting your time. The people on this board want to believe that GW is the conservative icon that will best the Dems after all this time.

Personally I think he's a coward and a RINO. And I voted for him, and I'm on the GOP VIP invitation list (just got an invite yesterday to a Bush breakfast - I tossed it in the trash can).

The truth is just too difficult for some to accept. Dems = Repubs, Clinton = Bush, welcome to the machine.

Anyone who truly, honestly, and rationally believes that what just happened with CFR is not a blow to the Republic but a political masterstroke has the same affliction that we made fun of with the liberals who unwaveringly supported Clinton.

JH2, I enjoy your writing style and usually enjoy your commentary. This time I think you're trying (like everyone else is and like I did) to spin the unspinnable.

This is so good, it merits re-posting:

Moscow, October 22 (KCNA) -- The Russian newspaper Patriot office published a book "Great Brilliant Commander Kim Jong Il" on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 56th anniversary of the WPK. Hero of the former Soviet Union Nikolai Lashenko wrote the book.

The book, a serial of the book "Great Man Kim Jong Il", consists of four chapters and 17 sections (chapter 1 'commander of Mt. Paektu,' chapter 2 'great master of military affairs,' chapter 3 'outstanding strategist' and chapter 4 'father of soldiers').

It deals with the distinguished trait of Kim Jong Il as a great brilliant commander who is leading the cause of socialism to victory with his army-first politics.
