Read the book and I loved it. Found out a lot of great information. I highly recommend it. Adams was a great man. We will never see his likes again.

I just thought of something else.I loved about the book, small details that McCullough dug up about Adams. When Adams wanted to stress a point in arguments in the congress,he'd lightly tap the floor with his walking cane! Loved it! I also loved the quotes from Adams and Abigail's letters. There was one letter Abigail wrote to somebody(?)in which she wondered:"Will posterity appreciate the sacrifices made for this country?" This was after Adams had been in Europe for awhile and she still in Quincy, apparently feeling lonely and missing her husband. This book has just got to be made into a mini-series.I prefer a mini-series to a movie because I think more people would be inclined to watch the series.
