Turkey will prove to play as significant a role in any WWIII scenario as the US and Russia.
Picking a fight with Turkey shows their ignorance. May the strong survive!

What? No ping list for this post?:-)
The world is replete with unsung heros who took their turn at maintaining civilization. May your compatriot rest in peace.

Yet here on this thread one can write: "God bless the Turks" and there is no shower of hate. What's the difference?
That's the football thread, and this is the basketball thread :)

To get REAL technical about it, the Turks are fully human but also fully unsaved, because they follow a false religion.
The Ishmaelites lack a neshamah, a savable soul, and thus are classed as "pere adam," or wild-men, beasts in human outline. They are just possessed and programmed, usually by Satan, but do not have a soul of their own, thus their eyes are often called "empty," "soulless," or frightening.

What's the difference?
Well, Turkey is:
- a NATO ally, but Arab/Islamic countries are not
- a democracy, but Arab/Islamic countries are not
- religiously tolerant, but Arab/Islamic countries are not
- growing economically, but Arab/Islamic countries are not
- supportive of the US, but Arab/Islamic countries are not
etcetera

Well, we are sort of frightening, I have to admit.. In a good way though :^D
Hate usually is a product of fear. I suggest that the poster is generally very afraid of anything and everything..

Could any of you please help me understand something? I have some friends who are Turkish (Turkish-American). Serveral of their sons are in the US military overseas, right now fighting for our liberty. They are wonderful people. Salt of the earth. They do follow Islam, (or at least a version of Islam that they were taught -- which taught them to respect Christianity and Judiasm.)I want to see more of this type of Islam and a lot less of the intolerant type.
To: vbmoneyspender
Sounds like the ultra Liberals (Hitlary & BJ) to me. Turkey is a good friend and a really bad enemy!
To: a_Turk
Oh no please don't. I've been really enjoying this thread.
