I certainly wouldn't. Fortunately that won't happen. The thugs who brutally murdered Matthew Shepard will never taste freedom again.
This story, however, bears no resemblance to Shepard's murder. For one thing, Matthew Shepard wasn't ambling down an alley simply minding his own business. He was drunk in a straight bar with a rough reputation trying to pick up guys who were also drunk. Secondly, Shepard was robbed. This girl wasn't. Shepards murder probably started out as a robbery and then escalated to homicide largely due to alcohol. Finally, in the RMN article it is claimed that this was the third time she's been attacked due to being a rug-muncher. This girl has some pretty bad luck --especially for living in Denver which isn't exactly a hotbed of conservatism.
Yep that's what gets me with all this Shepard hype-- "poor sweet lil' fag-boy angel"... Bullsh!t. I ain't gonna say he was asking for it, because I ain't gonna sit here and condone what those kids did to him, but he wasn't sittin' around wearing halos, folks. "Martyr" my hairy Republican a$$. Call a spade a spade.
