War in seven days?
3-29-2002 | Brian Baldwin

Any nation, tribe, or ruling class which through conquest or hegemony, extends it's rule beyond that of it's own tribe or nation, over people whose culture is not it's own, needs a religion, an ideology, which gives it a cultural language. Without a cultural language, such hegemony usually either never occurs, or is simply a defensive response to an attack and is very short-lived. But with a cultural language, we see historical examples of relative success by such tribes, however bloody in many cases. Until Japan's aggression met head-on with America, they had a rapid, successful, expansion, albeit short lived. The cultural language (ideology, cult) of Communism has had similar success of hegemony over diverse tribes, longer lived than that other "ism", National Socialism, and communism is still alive today, probably because unlike National Socialism, not all elements of this cult desired simply to kill any and every other tribe rather than assimilate them, although we have Pol Pot whose form of communism, somewhat similar to Mao, indeed did want to kill any and everyone depending on which way you parted your hair.

Islam is a dramatic example of the power of a cultural language. And I would contend, many would argue with me, that the role of the Catholic Church and Hispanic Culture is another example of a successful and ongoing hegemony of cultural language.

Zionism, a cultural language of many Jews, and the Islamic terrorist network consisting of the "storm troopers" (should they even be so complimented) of the Islamic cultural language, are in the midst of a battle of epic proportions, whose battlefields, soldiers, and dead are topics of our news media in print, words, and (often ugly) graphic images. Often - most often - the presentation of this battle, which for Israel has been and is becoming a battle for it's very life, is skewed by the media, a media which is without question predominately liberal, left wing, anti-American, and is also a media which has it's own cultural language, a cultural language that desires hegemony over the entire world and sees as exemplary leaders, icons, heroes of the heart, such persons as Bill Clinton, Fidel Castro, or a Charles Manson. Anything that would undermine America, and so the presentation of the news carefully skewed to attain this long term objective of those who live and breath by this cultural language which is in conflict, a culture war, with the democratic cultural language of America and wants to see America destroyed and replaced with a socialist dictatorship run, preferably, by third world dictator of color.

It is very obvious in the cultural language of the leftist media, that they want the Islamic terrorists to be successful in destroying Israel. Personally, I am on the side of Israel, and with 911, more than ever. I am not going to deny that Zionism is an example of cultural language that, in historical perspective, is an example of a powerful language that most often can, will, led to nation building and expansion. But I see Israel as an example of a Western, democratic, and heroic culture, a sister of mine if you will, and I haven't noticed any 911's of late committed by Israel or Jews in general against any very tall buildings in America.

Now I am hearing through the grapevine that Israel has been given some sort of "ultimatum" by the Islamic terrorists, cosigned by Syria, Iraq, and now even by Iran, with an additional unidentified signatory (it was simply marked with an "X") who is Saudi Arabia.

I am also hearing something about "something is going to happen" sort of Revelations Number 9 or "something". Yes, comets are again in the air, but this one seems to have a serious tone to it, and those who are expressing concerns do so not upon the basis of any biblical revelation or comets. I have no idea if the "experts" know actually what they are talking about (just consider some of your weather reports), but some are saying "war within seven days". Well . . . does anybody have any insight on this?

The media seems to want to tell us that the Islamic terrorists (e.g. the "Palestinians" and other terrorists - viz, how come Islamic terrorists in one region of the world get to be called "Palestinians" by the media but Guatemalan terrorists in another region of the world are called "death squads" by the media and not "Guatemalans"?), in fact the way the media skews it they are almost implying that these "Palestinians" (terrorists) are now offering "gifts" to Israel, but on the streets and the battlefields I think it is evident that these "gifts" are offered out of place and out of season. And, what is happening actually has nothing to do with only the present. Because, if it did, if they did, if they only live for the present, then why this war and all the carnage and suffering involved? No, this is all about the future.

America is losing it's cultural language. George Bush isn't doing much to help the situation, and is doing a lot of things of late to contribute to it. Even Al Gore would have sent our troops to Afghanistan, maybe it would have been a more protracted war, but he would have 80% approval ratings right now just like Bush. As far as our cultural language is concerned, however, we are losing it, either way, Gore or Bush. I guess this is what happens when you replace assimilation with multiculturalism. I guess this is what happens when you have no borders. I guess this is what happens when politicians are more concerned about voting blocks because too many other Americans don't care to participate and are more interested in celebrity boxing or something. I guess this is what happens when you have the spin of the ABC radio news and propagandists such as the Crescent News Network. America is losing it's cultural language, and this is probably why 911 happened. And will happen again. After it happens again, will they close Disneyland for awhile? I hope not. Is this Good Friday, or next week?

Multi culturalism is the death knell of any society. We've known this since the time of the romans.

Good essay! The Leftists always attack nomenclature, piece by piece, which is how they win over time. For example, the word abortion is no longer uttered by leftists in the media. It is now referred to almost exclusively as a woman's right to choose. Who could argue with choice?

Now the leftists are excluding the words gun control from the media, and co-opting the words "gun safety". The list goes on and on. "Caregivers" instead of parents. "Politically correct" instead of "tyrranical", etc. The list goes on and on.

The pen is, indeed, mightier than the sword.

Have you ever wondered why the Leftists have no word for "religionist", a la racist, or "religiophobic", a la homophobic?

Hard to say from this perspective.

Plenty of prophetic sites are calling people to extra prayer and fasting.

My own probably flawed take on it is that--Arafat flinched. I took that to be a signal that the string pullers behind the scenes have decided that WWIII will not happen yet. Whether a "contained" conflagration could be ordered for the mideast along Biblically predicted lines is beyond my guesser.

One Bible Code seemed to say WWIII in 2002 OR 2006 IF it was interpreted etc. correctly. It was an earlier one. I don't know if it would stand the current criteria test or not.

Things are getting curiouser and curiouser. Prayer and fasting is certainly a preferred current option.

No war without Egypt. No peace with Syria.

Let's add another ingredient to your cauldron:
Renewed Kashmir Violence Kills 10

By BINOO JOSHI

Associated Press Writer

March 29, 2002, 11:51 AM EST

JAMMU, India -- Suspected Islamic militants raided an Indian paramilitary camp and blew up an army truck in two separate attacks in Kashmir on Friday, killing at least four Indian soldiers, authorities said.

Four guerrillas and two civilians died in other attacks in the troubled region, they said.

In one attack, gunmen opened fire on soldiers guarding a camp that houses 600 paramilitary soldiers 95 miles north of Jammu, the winter capital of India's Jammu-Kashmir state, a police official said. At least two soldiers were killed and one wounded before the attackers fled.

Two soldiers were killed and two wounded when suspected militants used a remote control device to detonate a land mine under an army truck in Reasi, a mountainous area near the Pakistani frontier 75 miles north of Jammu, army officials said.

In Rajpora, 55 miles north of Jammu-Kashmir's summer capital, Srinagar, assailants entered the home of the village headman and fatally shot him and a visitor, a police statement said. Police also blamed Islamic guerrillas for that attack.

The police statement said Indian security forces killed four suspected militants in a gunbattle in Kulgaam, 40 miles south of Srinagar. It said the suspected militants had blown up a bridge connecting two towns in the area.

More than a dozen Islamic militant groups have been fighting since 1989 for Kashmir's independence or a merger with Muslim Pakistan. The Indian government says more than 30,000 people have been killed, while human rights groups put the death toll at twice that number.

Mostly Muslim Kashmir has been divided between Hindu-majority India and Muslim Pakistan for more than half a century, and the countries have fought two wars over the Himalayan region.

India accuses Pakistan of arming and training militants who carry out attacks in Indian-controlled Kashmir. Pakistan supports their separatist cause but denies the Indian claims and has cracked down on Islamic militants this year as part of its cooperation with the United States.

Tensions between Pakistan and India have been high since a deadly December attack on India's Parliament, which India blamed on Muslim militants backed by Pakistan. The nuclear-armed neighbors have built up forces along their border.

"Crescent News Network"

Oh Excellent! Hope you don't mind if I start using this "title" for them. It is even better than Censored News Network.

Some very good points made.

Do you suppose that we would be having the problems that we are if our cultural language didnt have a distinct zionist accent to the ears of arabs?

No, I for one don't think so. Would the United States be as big and strong as it is if another course of history was laid out for us? Point is, our Constitution, and the worship, if you will, of individual liberty, along with our advantage geographic position in the world, has led directly to our fame, power, and fortune. Without the form of governmet we have and without an adherence to personal liberty, I doubt we would have been so industrious, invented so much stuff, nor drawn unto our shores the best of the world's immigrants (to include half the world's Jews and lately a high number of Muslims).

The Arabs would have hated us for this alone. Now add the fact that the US is the most religious of all the Western nations, with a great belief in the JUDEAO-Christian Bible, has led this country to respect and support the state of Israel. Israel, like us, is a democracy. Israel, like us, is a Western nation. With the exception of Turkey, no other Islamic country comes close.

Without loving or hating the Jews, you can see how the coming struggle is inevitable. We better steel ourselves to this fact. Like it or not, whether due to our support of Israel or not, when the balloon goes up, we will fight with the Jews against the Arabs.
