Ok, I used a bad example. But the question still stands: Has anybody got an alternative proposal? If you can't try them because they are "sick" and you can't force them to take drugs to make them well enough to try, what do you do with them?
As to your other posts, you've got some points there, but our opposition might be more successful if we have a proposed solution for the legitimate problems.
