From the same sources that reported 700,000 Chinese troops in the Sudan last year.

The author of this article is selling newsletters. If you read this article carefully, he jumps to conclusions that are not justified by anything Tenet said. Check out on the web and you'll find that many experts, including our own CIA, have concluded that Red Mercury bombs don't exist. Even if they do exist, if would be an extremely risky move for Russia to give this technology to Iraq. How could they know that Iraq wouldn't turn on them and use these bombs to attack Russia. If Russia has this kind of technology, you can bet they're never going to share it with anybody. Finally, the concept of the U.S. attacking Russian nuclear sites is unthinkable given Russia's ability to retaliate. From everthing I've read, we are mainly concerned about Iraq developing a Hiroshima-type nuclear bomb. I've read that they now have the entire bomb except for the enriched Uranium. So our objective may be to get rid of Saddam before he gets his hands on enriched Uranium. If Iraq had Red Mercury bombs in it's posession, we would have already attacked them.

Furthermore it would be suicidal for Russia to launch a nuclear attack on America. Even it they did succeed in destroying our land-based ICBM's, they couldn't reach our Trident submarines. (That's why we have Trident submarines). And just one (1) Trident submarine could devastate the 10 largest cities in Russia. I don't deny that Russia is distributing some WMD technology, but Tenet is probably referring to ballistic missile and biological weapons technology. As for Mr. Vreeland, how could he possibly obtain copies of top-secret memo's between Iraq and Russia? He's a fraud and so are his bogus memos.

The new format seems to work alright; just cut and paste that Internet address into your browser window and it comes up just fine. I save addresses of threads on a Microsoft Word document.

This one I'm saving as an April Fool's prank to pull on some impressionable person or other.

If Russia had such weapons...bet ya they would use them in Chetyna!

This article reeks of strange substance and is lacking in verifiable facts.

What this article conveniently fails to overlook is the massive arsenal of Blue Mercury weapons the U.S. has had for decades. These weapons are far more potent than Red Mercury devices: a marble-sized Blue Mercury device could blow up Greenland, for example.

In fact, most U.S. "weapons" based on fissionable heavy metals are actually decoys, intended to make our enemies believe we don't have this devastating technology. But we do.

At least, that's what the guy on the corner who yells Bible verses at the top of his lungs all day told me, and his reports have checked out in the past.

So hey, no worries, mates -- unless we lose our marbles...

I know the guy. He's the one with thousands of bumber stickers and homemade signs all over his car.

Many will dismiss the claims of DEBKA

Geez, you post one bogus report about thousands of Chinese troops and they brand you with the mark of Cain.

The document also refers to a top secret Russian stealth satellite termination system (called S.S.S.T.). According to Vreeland, this is a stealth orbital platform armed with clusters of electromagnetic pulse bombs capable of knocking out global communications and frying U.S. nuclear warheads leaving the Western Hemisphere.

If Vreeland's information is reliable, we might have a handle on why the United States is threatening Russia with nuclear strikes. Like a trapped animal the U.S. realizes the mistake it has made. Disarming after our alleged Cold War victory was an error. Now the U.S. must make terrible threats and take drastic action to restore the nuclear balance.

Is the contradiction here not evident? We are holding Russia responsible (hostage) for Iraq's actions by threatening a nuclear attack on Russia, yet, Russia has this secret technology to disarm our nuclear weapons and blind our Global Positioning Satellite to prevent us from atttacking them. Some threat! Try again, Nyquist.

The Trident subs have "mirved" multiple indepenedent reentry vehicles". If I am not mistaken a Trident sub carries a total of 180 warheads on its missles. (Any boat man out there correct me please on the proper number of warheads if I am wrong) One Trident sub can remove all the major cities of Russia. The Trident is the ultimate weapon of mutually assured destruction. It is not designed to be a first strike weapon but a weapon that is to be used to ensure the total and absolute destruction of any country that attacks us with nuclear weapons.

PS The name Trident is most appropriate as our nuclear force is base on land based missles, warheads delivered by SACs airplanes and sea based missles. Also, the trident is what is in the hand of Neptune (Greek god of the sea).

Take a pause and bless our young men and women in uniform that protect us this night. As we rest in our beds they may be on the ground in the Middle East, deep beneath the Artic Ocean and high above is in bombers and fighter jets. Some will also lay their lives down this week or next week or perhaps tonight as we sleep.
