Rush's View on the Middle East...FR Comments?

Rush repeated his views on the Middle East today...that the only solution is for one of them to destroy the other. He argues that throughout history a conflict has never been solved by a "peace" agreement, before a decisive military victory.

I think Rush is so far off on this one that he needs a good talking to from a friend.

Muslim nations that surround Israel all want Israel (and any non-Muslim presence) out of what they consider (wrongly) their land. Israel's a convenient scapegoat. Muslims are killing and threatening, kidnapping and terrorizing people across the world. This isn't about Israel.

For instance, Christians make up half of Nigeria's population. Today in Nigeria the Muslim leadership forced Muslim codes on the whole nation...all Christians must observe these practices. Christians will not be allowed Christian lawyers in court. Christian churches are being burned and Christians are not allowed to rebuild. This is happening today. Where's the press? Pundits, including Rush, don't understand the fundamental differences between Judeo-Christian teachings and the Koran.

Christians do not force non-Christians to convert. Where is forgiveness in the Muslim "faith"? Where is "love they neighbor"?

Rush, by pushing for war, believes that this is between Israel and the Palestinians only? This is not comparable to anything in our history. We have immature leaders in third world nations with enough money - thanks to our oil dependence - to purchase weapons of mass destruction. If Israel did what Rush believes it should do and unleash its full military might towards a decisive victory, every brainwashed Mosque-taught militant Muslim around the world would behave as they've been taught...as immature martyrs led to slaughter. We would have China, Russia, Europe and other nuclear powers involved, and not enough accuracy in the media, honesty by world leaders or people exposed to the truth.. on the contrary, plenty of news, leaders, disgruntled individuals are inciting people to fear and hate around the globe. Our troops would be in jeopardy, as would all coalition efforts to track down terrorists within Muslim nations.

The only immediate solution, imho, is a peace agreement..."pretend" or not, with a demilitarized zone, Israel's right to exist the main point.

We have either another Cold War (see Rush, we have had this standoff without "ultimate victory" in history), or we have WWIII...and no sane, mature, leader, citizen, child with a soul and brain could wish that upon the world.

IMHO, Rush is correct in his observation that real peace has only come after one side has made a profound demonstration of resolve and might over their adversary. If what you guys want is the kind of peace the North and SOuth Koreans have had for 50+ years then that is what you will get.

This is a war and what you want is for Isreal to surrender. Why?

Wrong. Peace is not having Muslims carry bomb-belts into restraunts and hotels. No "state" peace process will stop that. They are already brainwashed into believing they are the victims of the Jews (same as in Germany) except that these people have half the intelligence.

Peace can only be gained exterminating Islam to the point they stop teaching hatred and brainwashing their followers.

Rush is 1000% right. The flat earthers won't stop until they destroy Israel or are destroyed themselves.

This is a fact of life. You gals are just too civilzed and aren't aware of how devolved much of the Arab world is. They won't stop until they're forced to.

To give you an example, most children are trained from childhood to hate (or kill) Jews and Americans. Their maps don't include Israel.

I do believe that most human beings...even on the left...would be outraged at the brutality of certain (too many) Muslim people/leaders/nations. They have to know at some level that this is genocide, that only one side is forcing the other by murder, torture, threat and extortion off their lands.

Even our journalists have to know at some level that there's a big difference between Judeo-Christian beliefs - the original 'declaration of independence' and 'declaration of equal rights for all' and Muslim militant international declarations and teaching that Jihad is the only way.

The contortions of logic and reality it takes to equate the two ways of seeing the world are impossible. Eventually, if these journalists care about the truth and still insist on ignoring it, there heads will explode. (^:

I never said I wanted Israel to surrender.

I do not want to see Israel destroyed; nor do I want to see the Palestinian people who are not terrorists to be destroyed.

One of the places recently blown up was a cafe where citizens from Israel and Arabs both worked and ate. Those people were not killing each other. Outside terrorists came in and blew it up.

Rush is advocating one side to deestroy the other. Why can't a cafe such as that one surivive?

You got a better solution? The PLO's primary platform is the wholesale destruction of Israel. Peace talks haven't gotten anywhere for a few decades. Palestinian children are being raised to believe that the highest goal in life is to become a suicide bomber.

The Israel/Palestine conflict is no longer a political issue solvable by political means by statesmen, it has become a people-vs.-people conflict at the lowest, most viceral level. Arafat has no control over the issue, he is simply a symbol. Israeli leaders have little control either, as they are formally obligated to negotiate or fight with opposition leaders; as those leaders have no control over suicide bombers (the latest being a teenage girl!!!), there is - very sadly - little else to do.

Do you have a better suggestion? Really?

The only solution is to expel the non-compliant Arabs into the neighboring nations: Jordan, Syria, Egypt, etc and let our good friends the Germans, French and Saudis pay for the re-settlement costs.

Yes, I believe in "land for peace". Israel should take more and more land away from the Arabs, expelling the inhabitants until they get the message of peace.

Thinking that there will be peace is just plain naive and foolish. Realizing that sometimes war is the only answer is being realistic. All the wimpass Neville Chamberlains need now be relegated to the dustbin of history.

As for the conflict in the mid-east, it is going to take the Isreali's defeating the arabs once again before any peace is to be made. I also agree that there will be suicide bombings here in the US if the Palestinians believe this tactic to be working.

However, on a world wide scale the muslims are fighting with Hindus in India, Christians in Kosovo and America, animists and Christians in Africa, Othordox Christians in Chechnya, and the Jews in Isreal. As Neal Boortz said recently said, the problem is "you, you, you".

And what planet do you live on? The start of WWIII is already here. And if you think that the Pali's will abide by any peace plan you obviously haven't done your homework. Unless of course by peace you mean the utter distruction of the Israeli people and the occupation of their homeland by the Pali's(terrorists/Muslims).
