I agree. Donohue doesn't defend individual priests. His job is to call attention to the anti-Catholic bias that exists in the press, on the air, at the colleges and universities, and everywhere else the elitists and leftists like to gather. He speaks up if priests, nuns, or Catholics in general are maligned, but I haven't ever seen him defend abusing priests or bishops.

I heard him on TV the other night absolutely livid and tearing into priests who molest kids. He makes excuses for nobody. As you might expect, the person who said above he was defending molesting priests also posted the following last night:
