Fantastic article

I hope Bush reads it so he can finally pull his head out of his ass and see that Arafat is no peacemaker (duh).

Please. Bush has already been lied to once by Arafat (the Karin A Affair). He understands that Arafat is no friend of the very idea of peace with Israel. The U.S. has to concentrate on the mission at hand: Iraq. The writer is right on about the Israeli time constraints.

What we hope to do is show the Eurotrash Arafat's complicity in terrorist operations. We are done with him. It is simply not politically smart to say so at this time, before we've laid the truth out on the table.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Gee - Maybe US Intelligence should hire you! You're obviously smarter than they are and by your claim, Bush is too stupid or his advisors are too stupid, to advise him. It's REAL SIMPLE ISN'T IT?!? Any idiot should know the solution.

I don't think our President considers Arafat to be the world's most wondrous peacemaker, do you? Have you seen Arafat parading around our White House even once during the Bush administration? (As he did hundreds of times during clinton's reign of disgrace?)

Can't you understand the brilliance evidenced in sitting back, making professional moves towards negotiations (ie, Cheney's offer to meet Arafat, which Arafat most unwisely snubbed, or Zinny's attempts), allowing Arafat to expose his under-belly to the world so as to allow all of us to really view what this madman is about (see the pic of the palestinian man hanging, about to be eviscerated by palestinians because he was suspected of being sympathetic to Jewish people) and permitting Israel go for it, to crush the structure of a man so vile, so heinous, so evil that he would send children out strapped with bombs on their backs to kill other civilians.

Arafat is plain lucky his territory does not border the USA.

Apparently you didn't understand the article. It's just as we've been saying all along, the Bush administration is giving cover for this operation. They know full well what Arafat is and Israel is providing the hard evidence. The confusing message that is coming out of DC is intentional. People can grouse and moan all they want about the "confused" message, but it's very deliberate.

The terrorists are being rounded up, the Palestinian people will end up with their own state, and Arafat is going to end up neutered.

Will Israel and the US be able to deal with him? Sure, after this is all over he's going to know that he is useless and the powers that be will know it too. They are stripping his organization right out from under him.
