Well how about a theory that the VD's used their reported $50,000 2nd mortgage home equity line of credit that they signed for on 2/4/02? When did they apply for that?

How long before some smart cookie finds out who the legal and/or registered owner is which might indicate if they paid cash or have it collateralized and if it is even true...?

I'm not backing away from what I wrote. LOL~ I just said I don't think they used an insurance policy to buy their car. IF you want my PERSONAL opinion, I think they are well-off enough to buy it on their own. But who knows?! Their financial records haven't been leaked yet.

Well, he covered himself legally by stating that the PSA was not directed to any particular case -- although obviously the reality is that he is directing it at them. To the extent he is referring to all cases, as he says, do you question that such things as "Family Affairs" exist? I hate to think of it, but I'm sure they do.

You should have addressed that reply to me, rather than take the backdoor.

Anyway, yes she did imply that they may have had an insurance policy on the child, at least that is the way normal people would have read what she wrote.

As far as drawing conclusions, UCANNOTSEE2 that just cause someone buys a $300,000 home, doesn't mean they can well afford any car they want. It has been my experience in life, to know many people who are "house poor".

The van dams are degenerates, in MY own opinion, who thought little of their family and values beyond self-gratifiction. Their actions since the death of their daughter confirm my suspicions.

If you or anyone else wants to defend them, it is your right. But I have to wonder why the van dams aren't working harder at defending themselves? Maybe it's because they see nothing wrong with their actions.

Incorrect? Unlikely is perhaps a better term, and typical for most Kim-posts. (Any resemblence to com-post is purely coincidental.) Remember the one where she said Damon and Barb were just having a platonic kiss and backrub in the bed? How can anyone take someone seriously when they say things like that?

Let's spend time and bandwidth discussing the FACTS of this case, instead of ranting and raving about each other. PLEASE !!!

LOL Thank you!

It's getting to the point where I think these people actually are PRAYING it's the VanDams so they can get their kicks by listening to the details. Am I right or am I right?

Careful, ucansee2. When someone said that to Kim, she hit the abuse button, and poof, the thread was gone. Of course, Spectre doesn't typically whine to the moderators.

There are people out there who think Pierce lacks credibility. OTOH, this keeps surfacing. Over and over and over and not just on this forum, why do you think that is? Maybe there is something to it. He had too much to lose to put himself on the line like that.

John Walsh will be finished in less than 4 minutes. Didn't miss much, IMHO.

LOL~ I love how you change the meanings of people's posts..I ASKED if they admitted having a sexual relationship in TESTIMONY. I did not SAY they didn't have a sexual relationship.

Family Affairs may well exist but that really doesn't matter. What I'd like to know and we have a DUTY is ask is on what basis is he making these claims? Am I missing something or has he given any evidence ... even a shred to support his claims?

From the beginning I've suggested the parents MAY have had some complicity ... but without some evidence this looks like this man's over active imagination.

This mail order preacher may well be making the claims just to be in the lime light and showing up on Larry King Live ... just like Jesse Jackson.

You are crude, aren't you?

Kim can fight her own battles, and no, I don't want to slap anyone in the face, do you?

I'm talking about a child, not a teenager.

You parse like a Democrat. Big surprise for you but everyone who has weighed in here is not everyone with children. In case you are not aware of "final expense" expenses, they can easily be as much as a decent car.

... much less the one they apparently bought.

Who cares what they bought? I was never part of that conversation. All I was trying to do was nicely inform you of why someone would have life insurance on a child. You asked the question, no reason to get snitty because somebody actually had a valid reason.

No, and none of the other neighborhood children who played in the RV either.

Nobody said those prints were at all recent, and the lower cupboards and eating surfaces would have been cleaned/ washed, beds made, etc. just in the normal course of time...

Swinging has resurfaced over and over again. But not including the child in the swinging. I haven't heard anyone say that. And this is full-on, straight, free publicity for this preacher (what religion is he ordained in?). Don't forget, THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS BAD PUBLICITY!

Thanks for the response:

(1) I don't think the BMW issue has anything to do with anything other than it sells newspapers.

(2)I don't think Pierce mentioning 'family affairs' means the VD's had those kind of affairs, regardless of Pierce's concern and involvement. Again, just something the sheeple eat up and spit out.

The biggest problem with the Danielle 'murder' case is the minor amount of 'facts' and the MAJOR amount of hype that comes out each day!

Wait a second ... do we know that they bought a BMW? Did I miss the article?

Amazing the amount of disinformation that has come out against Westerfield.

I've never quite figured out, how come he took the comforter to the dry cleaners and left the sheets on the bed? Guess he was going to wash the sheets himself, later.

wrt: your #111 well said. He's not offered a shred of proof and no one has stepped up to help him..or back him up. I hope he gets to be a witness in the trial.maybe he will because he was there for approx 8hrs.. We'll see how the no nonsense judge handles him.
