There is a possibility someone that knows the VD's thinks they may have purchased a BMW or gone for a ride in one.
And based on this we have people arguing with each other about whether or not the VD's spent the money from Danielle's rescue account on the 'BMW'. FIRST FIND OUT IF IT'S TRUE (about having a BMW) before you waste your time arguing how.
Have you noticed this whole case seems to go like this? Lot's of Disinfo, little real info.
One thing I read was a statement by police or possibly Pierce that evidence showed that Danielle was killed in her bedroom and then taken from there. I will go back and try to find it.
If we just started over, and made new building blocks only out of the facts, we should have a clearer picture.
Pierce obviously has some of the same questions some us have .

But you never know....in SC in the 80's when I lived there a woman was finally caught and convicted......
3 of her children died strange deaths, one "fell" under a riding mower, my memory is not good enough to recall the circumstances of the other 2, but she had large policies on them. They finally figured her out after the death of the 3rd kid.
There hasn't been any info that I'm aware of that there was a large life policy on Danielle. But if the parents used the fund money, while it might not be illegal, it certainly is distasteful if that is how they bought the car.
It's just another view into their value system.
I agree, there are many people who think that he lacks crediblity. Again, I can't judge his credibility because I have never met him. I can and do recognize the passion of someone trying to follow-up on a "feeling" of abuse and potential danger for the remaining children. I am required by law to report abuse and really understand what is feels like when everyone thinks you're kooks and you know you are right.
Another thing to note is that Pierce spent 7 hours in that house and has *never* changed his story.
1)People are ready to drag out the rope, or gun, or needle or guillotine or torture method of choice for Westerfield with out the benefit of a trial, based partly on dis-information leaked by the police. Particularly the "porn" charges. If you recall the judge wasn't in agreement with the DA. As discussed on other forums, the pedophile angle is weak but it gets the most attention.
2)The willingness to accept any thing that Brenda and Damon says, their irresponsibility aside. Even during the PH they were being less than truthful and got caught at it and learned the art of selective memory that plagued the last administration.
Responses have been at times, less than amicable, from thinly veiled insults included to out and out attacks and not necessarily beginning where you think.
1) Selfish curiousity.
2) I would think (if the purchase by the vD's of an M3 is true) their salesperson would have recognized them. I know I would have.

As for facts, some of the people here seem to avoid them and filter them out...as the bandits said in that old bogart movie,... facts? wee don't need no stinking facts.......:)

The question is was it a crime of opportunity or premeditated planning? Or perhaps a little of both? Was Danielle chosen because of a fixation on her as a target because of personal attributes? Meaning the predator was waiting and watching for a window of vulnerability and sooner or later would have found one. Even the righteous parent is powerless in the face of an unknown and secret enemy until they strike.
Or was Danielle targeted because a predator, aware of the immoral behavior and it's stupefying effects, realized that this was an available child. An easy mark. Which makes the parental immorality and negligence directly related to the crime because Danielle was targeted because of parental attributes rather than her own personal attributes.
Statistically, the second is more likely true than the first and is what I feel occurred. Only 14% of this type of crime are based on attributes of the victim. The vast majority are opportunity based.

Yup,and if anybody tries to sue him,he is going to hide behind religion. Meanwhile,he is getting publicity and raking in the dollars. Ain't no biz like show biz.
