Here, for instance, is my trilogy of truth.

a. Reality is that which exists.
b. Reason is the standard for knowing what's real and what isn't.
c. Truth is the recognition of reality.

In short, my trilogy defines common sense, too.

Reality is merely a perception, reason is the way we navigate within that perception, and truth is as slippery as reality. Realizing this and not taking oneself to seriously enhances ones common sense.
