Interesting stuff. But, this quote:

"One wonders if these proponents of Women’s Studies are actually ‘spies for the patriarchy,’ intending to keep women in their place by ensuring that they think only ‘women’s thoughts,’ and therefore withdraw from the ongoing dialogue about more important matters that continue to take place in society at large."

I wonder what this quote is from - the Duke University study? The article is unclear. But this is truly a hilarious thought, "Women's Studies" departments as tools of the patriarchy to keep women down. I love it.

Maybe "Women's Studies" departments were invented and funded by the CIA ;)

I gotta use this line next time I'm around someone praising "Women's Studies"... I'll just accuse them of defending the patriarchy by keeping women in narrow, go-nowhere career paths! :)

You might also work in some comments about keeping their pay down as well. Working in an abortion clinic does not seem to be real lucrative to me. Unless you are an abortionist. As for legal work defending abortion rights, it might pay well, but in relation to the rest of the legal profession, it may be relatively poor remuneration. You can also mention a 'glass ceiling' due to limited skills acquired in college. Hoist them on their own petard!
