Science has been so busy being the prodigal son (and a host of other people). I am waiting for Science to realize that all he has done is to usurp the high priests, who had the answer to the question why, something Science cannot answer, terrible two-year-old that he is. I am waiting for Science to realize it is all alone in the Holy of Holies, alone with his equations, still ignoring the ultimate connotations of his evolution, one that doesn't stop here on earth, but continues in a kind of spiritual evolution he will never understand until he realizes there are some questions that simply will not be answered.

I am waiting for the day that people will stop being so ignorant and stop interpretting the word of god as though it is set into stone. The very thing that separates christianity from other religions is the dynamic nature of its scriptures. The word of god was written down, but it was alive and still is. The difference between christianity and islam is that for christians the word became flesh and thus a living and adapteable being that can change with time to keep the same essence no matter how much a people change. For Islam the word of god became a book, static and unchanging and look where that has gotten them! We are past the point where we must cling to childish interpretations of creation and look for the truth. Does anyone here honestly think that God would create a perfect universe and then go about breaking the laws of physics and biology he created so he could make his will be done? Of course not if he is perfect! He wouldn't need to because the universe would be structured to make the execution of his will an innate part of its design. Why do you see conflict between God making man and man being descended from apes? Do you not think He can control evolution and shape it to his will?
